For the sake of us all, we beg Sesame St to come to Downing St!!!

Eight days before the Scottish Independence Referendum, David Cameron said:

"I would be heartbroken if this family of nations... was torn apart"

Six days later, he was even more explicit:

"We are a family. The United Kingdom is not one nation. We are four nations in a single country."

Well, that's pretty clear. We are not one nation but four. But in his victory speech outside 10 Downing St on Friday, he said:

"We will govern as a party of one nation, of one United Kingdom."

But he said during the referendum that the United Kingdom is not one nation! I even have the quote above. But then in the same speech he goes on to talk about:

"...the different nations of our United Kingdom..."

So we're still a family of nations! Well that's pretty clear! Oh David, do make up your mind. First, we're not one nation but then we are but then we're all different nations again.

Perhaps David Cameron is straining under the pressure? There's only one place help can come from - Sesame St! For the sake of us all, we beg Sesame St to come to Downing St and teach David Cameron the difference between the numbers 1 and 4!

It's up to you Sesame St. You've got to save us - the future of the constitution of the United Kingdom is now in your hands! Or wings. Or beaks. Or hairy feet. Whatever, just get here!
